Fireboy And Watergirl 4
If you enjoy colors in the games that you play, then you'll like Fireboy and Watergirl 4. The pair that looks like a flame and a water droplet have to navigate through a temple with colorful gems and crystals in order to get to the end of the game. The background of the game is rather dark with black slopes and slides, but the crystals offer the pop of color that you need to really get into the game and to have fun while playing. You can see how much time you have left to complete the level at the top of the screen. Since there are so many crystals, you have to use both Fireboy and Watergirl to collect all that you can. This is why it's better to have two players instead of trying to move both characters at the same time.
When you begin playing the game, you see the levels spread out like a web. You start on an easy level before expanding to the others that tend to interlink with each other. You have three lives, so keep that in mind while you're playing. Don't let Fireboy get in the lake of water or Watergirl get in the lake of fire. If you do, then they will die. If they get in green goo, then both of them will die instead of one being left behind. When you see the lakes, you can send either Fireboy or Watergirl first to flip the switches to drop the sections of the floor so that both players can get to the end of the level. The key to this game is that you have to pay attention and foresee what is ahead instead of playing in the moment of the game.
When you play, you'll see buttons that one player has to depress while the other person gets through. There are several objects that you can move around in the game, such as blocks. When you move the blocks, you can sometimes reveal crystals to collect that will increase your points. These crystals can then be exchanged for boosters and beneficial items to help you through the game. Try not to leave diamonds behind because these are worth more than the crystals. Your overall time is displayed when you go through the doors at the end of the maze.
